I recently replaced the drivers side switches on my 99 spyder, as they were broken. Also, only the drivers side window would go up or down, all 3 of the other windows would do nothing. The locks also didn't work. After replacing the switches, each window makes a click when I try to raise or lower it. The locks also make a click, but its behind/underneath the middle of the dash. Any ideas what's going on? :/

You may have a short in the interior wiring harness man.

The inside of the switches themselves may have to be cleaned.

Almost the same thing happened to me.Windows would not work, replaced switches, that didn't help.Hooked the window up to a power source, and the window worked. So I took the drivers side switch apart, cleaned up the contacts, and bamm, working.

Did this on my 92, and my girls 99.Same effect working windows.

Actually, the passenger window was unplugged. Found that out a bit ago. The locks also work now. The rear windows still won't go up or down, and on occasion, the passenger window won't go up or down. However, if I press the button to put the top up (even if the top is already up), it allows the window to operate.
