So this just started last night, and I haven't done any work to anything remotely related to the power doorlocks.. I noticed first when I went for a cruise last night, when I got home and turned the car off the doors didn't unlock like they normally do. Then this morning I go out to leave for work. Hit the button on my alarm/keyless FOB, alarm disarms but doors don't unlock. WTF So I use my key, get in the car and start it, and the doors lock like normal. Get to work, same thing - turn car off, doors won't unlock. Using the "switch" on the door they work fine both ways, what the hell could be going on here?? This is the only related symptom, windows seatbelts etc. all work perfect.

PS. I have searched and all threads were about the locks going out completely - obviously it can't be a fuse, short, or broken/loose connector.

Update: apparently the driver's side lock motor is going out/slipping, noticed one time when I manually unlocked from the inside it made a chatter noise, then was okay and both locks worked normally again.. Guess I'll be in the market for lock actuators now :banghead:

Mine would just come loose and cause this....since I duct taped it I havnt had an issue and that was years ago.

There is an actual plastic piece that covers the backside of the lock. Its supposed to clamp on tight but it loosened up over time I guess.
