2G Spyder Gas Pedal Sticks

My 98 spyder has a problem with the gas pedal like sometimes u push it and it works fine other times it kinda sticks a bit and when I push it then it takes little more lrg strength to push it causing the car to take off bucking. Its really annoying only way I figured around it is push the clutch in the get it unstuck then take off. Have any u guys had this problem? and if so what did u do to fix it?

There may be some gunk in the throttle body what the butterfly valve seats in the hole. Open the valve up and clean inside there.

Check your throttle body plate. Open it up and see if there is a lot of carbon built up around it. If so then that could possibly cause it.

It may be gunk in there but it may also be the throttlebody shaft seals have gone bad. Try cleaning the stuff out if there is any. Check to make sure that your cable is not physically hanging on anything near it in the engine bay. Also check to make sure that the cable is adjusted properly and not pulled too tight.
