spun a bearing now i got some questions

ok so yea i spun a bearing today in my car and im thinkin of some ideas on what to do with it. first off can u put a 6 bolt crank in a 7 bolt block? If i was to get a 2.4 storker kit what else would i need for it to be sweet?

i would mic it and check the journals but im pretty sure you could use that crank. stick with the 2.0 and while you have the crank out go ahead and do ## forged rotating assembly. i would suggest cp 8:1's eagle rods, take em .20 over. eagle forged crank or recondition yours, either one works. be sure you take care of that whole balance shaft delete thing and you will be set man. oh by the way, if you are still using the 14b get rid of it. do yourself a favor and do big 16G

i may be wrong but i do beleive that they do not have a 2.4 stroker kit for a 4g but they do have a 2.3.. corect me if im wrong but i beleive that there is only a 2.3 another thing is he is right do your self a fover and get your self a 16g with a manual or electrical boost controler... believe me its worth it

No you cannot put a 6 bolt crank in a 7 bolt block. Searching is your friend. They do make a 100mm crank for 7bolt motors if that is what you want. The dsm graveyard is having a sale on all crankshafts right now. I would suggest a stock rebuild unless there is a reason you want to stroke. Many people have gone fast with basically stock rebuilds, get the block refreshed and spend money on other things.
