Speedometer Sensor. Is This Simple Break Fixable? Pic Inside

Pictures are self explanitory, I do believe the rest of the black piece is still inside the tranny. Now This happend after the plate in the tranny mount broke off (Long story), I got the new motor mount and i put it all back together. My speedometer also stopped working so I figured that with the mount broken the would tranny moved around unpluging the MPH plug loose on the tranny, So once i finished the job I went looking for the plug and I found this.

Also back to my question is it fixable? Do they sell only the piece thats broken, do i need to tear the tranny apart? First time situation with this sensor.

No you can't fix that. Is the drive gear still in the tranny?

if it would be the metal stick comting out of the tranny then yes.

I hate to resurrect this thread but i cannot find anything else like this. This is the exact problem I have and I want to know if it can be fixed.
