I know that the second generation eclipse GSX & GS-T go like 130-140 mph. I was wondering what it would take to go 160-180 mph or in a GSX or GS-T. What kind of horsepower would you need to be making and what kind of modifications would it take.

... two nights ago I wanted to see how fast the thing will go (before I put it up for sale next week) so I took it on the interstate at about 2 in the morning and just went off on it. But the POS's speedometer only goes to 125 (rofl) and when I hit 120, that bi*** wasn't likin it. Plus the fact that my driver side front tire has like negative tread on it doesn't help. But if I didn't hold the wheel tight as I could, i'd start swerving pretty bad. And that's at 120. But stock v6 Camaros suck, so I guess that's different. The point to that story was, I later realized had my right tire decided to give up on me, it could have blown and at that speed sent me into the median/concrete wall thing... and I may not be posting here today.

Yeah........boom...your life will be sh*tty or be over :thumbdown That would suck.
