speed sensor on the tranny

im planning to change my speed sensor, it was pain in the neck to take out.

but i was wondering if i can refill some tranny fluid in that hole.

I would not do that. There is alot of debri in that area that can make its way into the tranny. Unless the tranny is SUPER clean i would not use that as a fill hole.

The tranny refill spot is easy to get to once the battery is out, and yeah I wouldn't refill it from the speed sensor hole, too much debris that gathers up there

Ok got it, I'm going to take the battery out to refill then, but i thought the refill on is on bottom of the car. there is a refill on under the battery too?? Thanks a lot

Just use a funnel with a hose attached to the end of the neck. You'll be able to fill from the top of the car and if you support the funnel, you won't have to hold it and you can do other things while the molassas slowly makes it's way in.

A faster way to fill would to get a much smaller tube ran down in the middle of the fill tube and into the tranny (not into the fluid) so you have an air supply to allow the oil to move faster. Or just take the speed sensor out to use as a breather.

The 1g's have a fill hole on the side of the tranny and thats how you know its full. You fill it till the oil comes out and you know its full. If you fill it from the top you can accidently overfill the tranny and thats not good unless 2g's fill from the top and not the side?

2g's fill on the side like 1g's underneath the intake pipe. I don't know of any fill hole under the battery?
