Speed Limiter?

You mean the top speed limiter? You can't be hitting over 140. Why do you need more speed?

Besides, you can't pass 127 because you don't have the power, your not govened. Don't worry about it.

I was not on a public road, And I have V rated tires on the car for the exact reason that was said about.
When I got to 127 I was still climbing just really slow.
It didn't take that long to get to that speed either. The Acceleration did really start to slack off until about 115.
I was actually hoping someone would give me an intelligable answer for the question.
Thanks seachao04 for the tip. I'll look.

I thought my answer was informative. You car lacks the power to overcome the aerodynamic drag at this point.

like stated above. that mod is for fwd turbo models only. of which you are not so wont work for you.

There was a post or two that stated the answer. He does NOT have a limiter. My 420a used to run out ate the exact same speed. Aerodynamics are his limiter.

True I was wanting to make sure the limiter wasn't there though.
So I guess since multiple of you said it doesn't have a limiter I'll see later if it gets anymore power before I get a better car.

Ahhh Greggy Greggy Greggy..... Your car wont even make it to the speed to use a flux capacitor.. Dont worry about a top speed limiter.

He pointed out that link was useless.

...since we are on this subject not that I really care to go as fast as the car is capable of,but I always wondered if when I got dsmlink if it makes the limiter go away? I'm not going to go try it but was just curious...

Link will allow you to change your redline ("limiter"). I'm talking about on a GST or AWD. Obviously does not apply to 420a's.

This.

Same thing goes for Ecuflash for anyone running ceddy mods. You can change your top speed limited rather than having to solder resistors in.

I would just like to point out (because only one other person did) that this info is useless for a 420A. :ohdamn:

He pointed out that link was useless.

Fixed :D

Sorry Travis, next time use the ohdamn smile so I can see it :D

Yeah I know you can change rpm limits and such so pretty much the top speed "limiter" it bouncing it off redline? Haha i thought it was something that tells the Ecu to slow the car at a set speed.
