Hey fellas im looking to reduce alot of weight on my car. I currently removed all the glass from the car to get it painted, but i don't want to install that heavy glass back on the car. Does anyone have any suggestions. Someone in another forum told me about "speedglass"; its suppose to be something lile plexiglass only lighter/stronger. Does any one known where to get this stuff? Has anyone done this before? Send me any info you guys might have on this. Thanx.

Try searching for Lexan, might be the answer to your question..

I see what you're talking about when you say "speed glass" supposed to be better than Lexan, only link I could find is as follows:
Flexite Molded Windows

The company that makes the "speed glass" is called Percy's, I've searched them, and their windows come up in a bunch of sites like summit, jegs, etc.. So maybe you can order through someone to get them? Sorry if I'm not much help, just trying to get you pointed in the general direction.

thanx fellas......i checked the sites you helped me out its just what im looking for except i have a 2g, and they sell 1g parts. I emailed the companies either way to see what they offer. Thanx again. :D
