Sunroof Glass Question

My sunroof is leaking like crazy. I searched the threads and found the nice write up with pictures how to do everything sunroof related. So I took the glass off with the 6 hex bolts and pulled the seal off the glass... here's where the bad part comes. When I pulled the seal off, it turned out that the entire metal bracket was rusted and most of the lip that the seal wraps around crumbled. So there's a couple questions.

1. Is the glass and metal bracket sold as a 1 piece unit or can I purchase just the glass and just the bracket seperately?

2. If the glass and bracket are two seperate things, how is the glass held on to the bracket? I'm guessing it'd have to be some sort of bonding adhesive that I'm sure the dealership won't tell me what is...

2a. What is the adhesive used to bond the glass and bracket together?

Also does anyone know of a webpage that tells the costs of parts from the dealership?

My recommendation would be to call the dealership, ask them how much those pieces are, and when they give you a crazy number, go buy a sunroof assembly from a junkyard.

As far as the sealant, my DSM cd says loctite 410 Black Toughened Instant Adhesive or equivalent. Not sure if this helps, but I would imagine any sealant would work. Some type of silicone would probably work just as good.

Don't know if there's a posting somewhere where you can list discontinued DSM parts but I went to the dealership for the sunroof glass and was about to pay my 600 dollar bill when the guy came out and said "oh I'm sorry but that part is actually discontinued and no longer available to us." Just an fyi for you all.

PS. I found an entire assembly in good condition for 65 bucks at my local junkyard
