Speaker Wire Question

I bought new 6x9 speakers and I have the factory infinity amp system. Witch wire is hot? Ones is grey and one is yellow.

Hey dont know if youve done figured out the wires but the yellow is hot and the grey is ground.

If you're talking about the speakers, yellow/blue is + and grey/blue is -. Neither is hot as they are differential signals. They are only + or - for proper phasing with the other speakers. And grey/blue is not ground so don't even think about connecting it to ground (unless you want to blow that amp's channel).

I think he was just wondering which one is + and - some people just refer to them as hot and ground because the marking on a battery is what there used to seeing. But your right for correcting me on that. So he doesnt make a mistake
