What size speakers do i need to replace all stock speakers? including the tweeters on the dash. my car used to have the infiniti sound system. and crutchfield didn't help. it just confused me more. haha. i just need someone to tell me the sizes. i already have a sweet hook up for prices. thanks.

Get 6x9s for the rear, you might need 6x9 speaker brackets or need to modify your brackets and hammer the end where the magnet sits. Some people say that you can get away with whatever bracket size you have since the rear speakers are for rear fill anyways. I'll be putting 6 1/2 components in the front, woofer in the door and tweeter in the stock 3 1/2" location. If this doesn't help, try a search, it has been discussed many times (I know cause I've searched) :)

From my rough measurements, you get about 2.75in of speaker mounting depth before you hit the wheel well. The stock speakers are about 2.5in or so. Most 6x9 are about 3in+, I got some blaupunkt shallow mounts that are 2.44 inches that work great. (I might post some pics up soon).

I am already running a sub and just wanted better mid/high range so I didnt mind losing some low end response.

You might consider using surface mount tweeters instead of replacing the factory in-dash speakers. There is a good mounting point on the little triangular pieces at the corner of your door windows. Surface mount units are usually able to be aimed and that can be nice -- especially if your eardrums have taken some abuse and don't catch the highs like they used to :)
