speaker question

i was just thinking the other day.. would my speakers perform better if i wired them up to the back of my deck and wired them to my amp? because right now they sound like shit its got a buzz with the engine and i installed one of those noise filter things but it didnt help any piece of shit. and when i had the noise filter in the speakers would pop and shit, sounded terrible...

i assume the speakers are wired to the amp right now - check the amp ground before you do anything else - then make sure your amp's power wire is run to the back on one side of the car and the rca wires are run on the opposite side
