My car was running and i shut it off. it wouldnt start up again just cranks. My wideband gauge doesnt light up at all now and when i try to hook up my computer to ecu it cant find working connection? Im getting spark after replacing power transistor(ignition module) but no fuel yet. Ive gone through all fuzes and grounds but no luck. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Had this same problem in a car I diagnosed. Had spark and turned but no fuel it came out to be the ecu. Also got the same thing wouldnt read anything on the scanner. If you know anyone with a ecu to check it I would try that.

I just got the ecu back from ecm tuning though because i upgraded to V3. They re did some caps they said but since ive gotten it back i haven't been able to get a working connection

Your not the first person to say that its the ecu, i just figured it being upgraded with new caps that it couldn't be. Ill see what they have to say and go from there. Thanks

The combo of no fuel and no open link is what points to ECU, spark is both ecu and componant controlled. Check for loose connections to the ECU and or bad wiring that could have shorted, also there is a fuel pump relay close to the ECU that you can check.

A couple days ago I take my gst eclipse to school in the morning and my gauge was working fine but then during the night time I go to start my car and when I did I noticed the light on the 1 didn't turn on but just the bottom light of the 1 didn't turn on.It's the first number which is always a 1 the bottom piece of the 1 dosent light anymore. I already disconnected and plugged back my gauge but it didnt worked. All the other lights still turn on though and the top piece of the 1. Why did it do this and can I still fix this?
