ok so heres the deal, the car DOES GET FUEL, and me and my friend have traced the problem back to the coil pack. on the back of the coil pack, there are the 3 wires, but 4 connectors for power etc. when i hook up a test light, sometimes i only get power to 3 of the connections, both reds, and 1 blue, but sometimes i get all 4 to have power, well i followed it to the connector and tested the plug, there are 3 little slits in the plug for the metal things to go into, well sometimes only 2 light up the test light.

could that be the problem as to why my car wont start? im really confused and dont know what to do so any help would be AWESOME. ive searched everywhere and cant seem to get the right answer, so thats why i have come to you all at dsmtuners, so if anyone could be of assistance, i would appreciate it.

ok. the car doesnt even start, its producing power to the coil, i believe, because the wires in the back on the coil are getting power. i put the test light up to them and the light to the test light came on.

we put a screw driver into the spark plug cable, and grounded it out to test it for spark. we did that on all 4 cylinders and neither of them got spark.

things electrical like the coil pack, ignitor, and spark plugs don't just up and go bad unless the wiring on them looks shady or they are in really bad shape. if you absolutely know your getting fuel to the injectors my next move would to check the CAS (cam angle sensor) these things go bad occasionally and your car won't start at all if they do... let us know if that fixes it! before buying anything just take it off the connection and look at the prongs, then plug it back in. while your trying to start the car have a buddy try to jiggle it as well, my CAS cracked on the plastic and it works just fine it just sags a bit and then my car won't start so i had to zip tie it up so it makes a good connection...

Have you tried checking the coils with a multimeter to see if they are in spec? Also, check the ecu for codes. This should help narrow down the search a bit.

ecu isnt throwing codes, that i think of? and i will try that plug and see what i can narrow down tommorrow.
