Does anyone have a legit source for manual racks? I just cant find a reman unit to save my life. I called a company that showed them in stock online, turns out they don't. They could rebuild one for $226 dollar, but I don't have one to give them LOL. I work at a Chrysler dealer and was able to get the part # through our parts department but part is no longer available....

Thanks for the quick responses guys!i just sent miller a pm to see if he has one. buyutoparts.com actually shows a rack in stock, i'll call tomorrow to make sure and if they would take my p/s rack in as a core.i have a feeling they wont seeing these racks are getting rare.

it looks like im looping the lines on my p/s rack unless I find something within the next two weeks.

do you know what that entails off?as far as I know all you do is pack it with grease and loop the lines.

It's more than that. Some searching will help you out big time on this. You basically remove the seal internal to the rack gear that separates the right and left side of the fluid pressure. I removed all of my hydraulic lines on the rack as well, greased the rack and pinion gears well, and capped everything that needed.
