Somebody examine this log please (DSMlink). How do I fix my knock???

I had a question concerning DSMlink. What exactly does "idle setting" mean? Is it the percentage the throttle body is opening? What should the idle setting be on WOT? Is it supposed to be 100? Or am i confusing the two?

Idle setting is what the car "idles" at when you turn on the car. What your thinking of is TPS. Just make sure it shows 95% or more when you have the throttle at WOT.

My idle setting is saying 90raw. What does that mean? It kinda doesn't make any sense. And how do I include TPS on a log. It probably has a different name so I'm confused. I haven't seen TPS anywhere from the "Values" list.

ECU/logfile>captured values is where you will find the TPS values. Just add TPS, the other TPS values will follow along. You must have had the AC on when you saw 90raw on the TPS. You should be around 32raw at idle with a correctly dialed in TPS. If not, loosen the two 8mm TPS bolts and rotate it utill it is at 32raw with the AC off. If you log TPS and notice its' value is above 1%, you can change the offset value in the ECU/Logfile>TPS. -1 per 1% above 0. Anything seen over 92% is considered Closed loop, just for future reference.
