Is there a reason you choose mild over SS flanges other then price? Also lets see the inside of the collecter. Were these manifolds back purged while welding?

SS Flanges expand too much. Ive seen them shear off manifold studs. Yes they were all backpurged.

You got your got your own shop that's cool. Ive been slowly building towards getting a shop.

Unfortunately i don't own a shop. I meant the shop i work at. We do custom headers and other things off that nature. I'm slowly working towards getting my work out there though. Here are some pics i have from the shop. MySpace. Either way take care.

What made you want to do this extensive work on a 1.8 ? Good to see someone do something unique.
I actually started the dsm scene when my dad purchased himself a 94 eclipse base model and that's what started it all, but i never saw big support from the aftermarket.
Good to finally see someone is willing to try this motor out and mod it.
What are your hp goals for it ? What will you be using to tune ?

Ive owned the car for about 8 years and ever since the day I bought it I wanted to turbo it. One day I just started get things together and now im here. I'm using MegaSquirt II to tune it. Don't really have any horsepower goals for it.

The 12 valve head will not give you any better performance.
