bought a used block for a 100 bucks. It has all internals, alterntor, flywheel.oilpan, all the pulleys. The guy told me ,that the block is in good condition.well i wanted to put a BSEK ,and when i took off the oil pan,i saw some metal shavings in it.when i spun a rod bearing on my old block,it had a goldish metal flakes in the oil pan,but on this on i got lik silver color shavings.I checked the bearings, they all looked good.Should i go to the machine shop and give them to check everything again,or just leave as it is and put in the car???

well i took closer look, and it seems ,that some kind of aluminum part was broken.I found a lil peace of aluminum inside the oil pan.I took off the pistons, looked at them, but they all were good.So i don't know, maybe the guy that i bought the block, was doing something with head, and some little peaces went down the block to the oil pan......
well i just put the block into the car, changed the main oil seals, put a new oil and water pumps, new timing components, new clutch and flywheel.Tomorrow im gonna put the head on,do the timing and start my car up. I hope the block will not be trashed .....
