I was just wondering, the engines are the same as the 6-bolt 4g63, and if you use the same parts to upgrade it? The second question is, are there any good galant websites like this?

1) Yes. Almost every engine part that will work on (6-bolt) 4G63s will work or is adaptable to the GVR4.
2) Not really... at least not that I've found, sorry. I imagine this is because they're so rare.
 
i doubt this helps you much, but the only galant vr4 site i know is "concerned primarily with the 8th generation"...aka the big ones with the 2.5L twin-turbo six...just in case you want to check it out: Galant Vr4 site
 
I was just opening m field to other cars. I just want the 4g63 engine, i don't really care about the looks.

I'm about 6 feet tall, i have sat in a 92 eclipse before, and i don't fit that well, is the galant suitable for someone as tall as me?

I'm 6 foot 3 and I fit in my Laser just fine. I have more headroom in my car than in my buddies Cadillac CTS. Just adjust the seat a little.
 
to clear this up, yes SOME 1g awd parts will work, The intakes wont unless you relocate you battery or make one, None of the 1g d/p will work due to us having pre cats, punishment racing can make you one, the template they use is my stock d/p, also i am 6'5 and i have hella leg and head room and the leather is WOW, they have many nice features and are one of the best sleepers out there, there are no vr4 fourms that are worth a crap, i would buy it the re sale on them is amazing and people will stand in line to buy it blown up wrecked or however. i had three,i am down to two i sold one wrecked in the rear with some bolt ons for 4500 bucks. :thumb: cant beat them for re sale,

On my 91 GVR4, I'm using a 1G AWD downpipe (Apex'i N1).
 
let me rephrase that,They will work but the entry angel are slightly diff the brackets are in a diff place, i also ran an n1 on the gvr4 i wrecked and sold, it was off my 90 awd, there are a few differences between the two, anywho i have another gvr4 4 sale num 1166 1991 mbc, 2.5 d/p,k&n,greddy boost gauge, zex 75 shot with pugre, airesearch t3 60 trim .45 ar ex housing, logger, might include the e manage if the price is right. but if you get the e manage i keep the mbc, make me an offer pm me anything not stupid cheap ass will be considered as of now it is semi tuned, running 16 psi on 94 octane need's 750's, it pulls hard as hell, engine was rebuilt 60 k ago trans is less then 3 months old. blows smoke the tdo5h is taking a shit {blown seals} compression is 154,152,155,152 but you get the airesearch t3.the block was blueprinted btw, i have a ffwd connection 2.0 race motor also with a pte blower , its the fully connected cryoed,with level 4.5 head alum rods, 8500$ 800 hp+ with proper standalone and tune and a slightly bigger blower needs pt76gtq or bigger, warranty if i install and tune if not your s o l.

If you get one without sun roof - definately. I am 6' 5" and mine has a sunroof. I bump my head if not careful. If I didn't have a sunroof I'd be fine.
