ok, so i'm going to be working on a friends spyder with a sohc engine and I DON'T think its a 4g64 cause of the size of the plug wires. And he needs junkyard upgrades bad, so......

what engine is this?

whats the stock throttle body size? and where do I get a larger one? 4g63?

whats the stock fuel injector size?

and witch (N/A) ecu has the most aggressive timing and fuel curve? 1.8, 2.0, or 2.4

Do your friend a favor and stop cramming bad ideas into his head. Do some research... if its a spider it should be a 2.4 unless its a GST in which case it would be a 4g63. Throttle body size isnt directly related to HP gains and you cant swap in an ECU for better timing/fuel curve. Search the site and wikipedia for terms "fuel curve" and "timing curve" then get back to us.

On a more serious note if your digging in the junkyard for performance parts expect bad results.
