ok, so this is my first post and its time i break down and just ask for help. That's what this section is for right? and yes just to per vent a future ass-hat of a question i've already tried researching the problem before hand, but could find nothing but vague ideas.
so! story is.. I bought a 97gst no engine no interior, basic rolling chassis. the car did in fact run before the previous owner put a rod threw the block and removed said engine. so im leaning towards all of the relays and ecu being in working order. Now I swapped the motor out of my 95tsi awd talon put a dash and everything else for the car to be complete from the talon into my gst so the car is complete now. Then i did what i shouldn't have and removed the aftermarket alarm system on the grounds that i didn't have the key pad for it and didn't want to pay nor bother with getting a new one and besides i didn't want it giving me problems later down the road, who knows how old it was. so i unhooked and removed all the wires from the alarm. They were just connected to the under-dash harness by female/male splice's so it appears nothing was cut and or spiced to be ran else ware (except the ign wire which is reconnected to its origin now). So to narrow my search i wired the wires for my neutral safety switch together to make sure that wasn't one of my problems as this might cause similar problems. the battery is moved to the trunk. and all harness's appear to be connected through out the car.
now the problem....
no power to ecu on the 12v+ (power supply wire) or any other of the +power wires at the ecu and of course as a result..
no cel light before start up.
no power to the fuel pump, or noise from the pump. I doubt its necessary to test its power wire its a Walbro 255 I'm pretty sure id hear it kick on.
no power to the starter or signal wire to and from the relay. Obviously its not the starter relay as a starter relay would not cause all of these other said problems.
when i turn the key all I'm getting is a click from (probably, maybe) a relay from the vicinity of the radio and ecu. Everything else works awesome no dim headlights or anything like that.
so all of that being said any helpful ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
as a little incentive if someone gives me the right answer to fixing this problem ill send them my extra (like new) t-25 if they want. (i honestly will. I'm sick of doing nothing but stare at my car)
