hey guys , well i just failed emissions, said my co2 was too high, limit 80, mine 1.10 . im blowing some black smoke though at the 3000 rpms range, wondering if that could be my pcv valve. checked the turbo for play, normal play, and no noises
tell me what u think i have 30 days to fix what ever it is LOL
thanks

Could be PCV valve, but I'd do a boost leak test. Black smoke usually means you're running rich, and boost leaks will cause this. A failed PCV is definitely a boost leak, but there are numerous other sources. If you have bad leaks and fix them, you'll be MUCH happier with your gas mileage and power.
