OK.So heres the thing. My car started smoking so i replaced the pcv valve.Three weeks later it started doing it again so I replaced the pcv valve again and once again it stopped. Now its smoking again about a month later. It only smokes after i come out of boost. My question is am i just running to much boost to run a pcv valve.Do i need to go to a catch can.I'm on 23 psi spiking at 25 on a 16g.Any advice would be appreciated.

Its smoking out of the exhaust. It only smokes when you come out of heavy boost. It doesn't smoke when idling, normal driving ,or light boost, but when you boost anymore then 17 19 psi and let off the gas you will see a cloud of smoke behind you from the exhaust, and smell burnt oil in the car.Every time i replace the pcv valve it doesn't do it for 2 weeks to a month.Where would i pick up a check valve at.

It doesn't smoke on decel.I can down shift or just ride the gear to slow down and it doesn't smoke at all.It only smokes when i let off the throttle under heavy boost,And if I change the pcv valve it doesn't smoke at all for a few weeks

EDIT: They've updated their site, try this: http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=36844&catid=489 I'm pretty sure it's the 3/8" one's you want - it's been years since I purchased mine.

If it were me, I'd read the thread I linked, toss on the check valve and see if the smoking stops. Next I might take steps to improve crankcase ventilation beyond the check valve, such as a catch can between the VC and intake pipe.

That's your main problem. I've had problems with parts store valves in the past. If you want to test a new valve blow in both ends one end won't let any air at all. Most parts store will leak

Although PieEyedPiper has a point, I know that the overall quality of the parts store PCV are not the same the one ones that the dealership sells. For stock or close to stock purposes, the OEM ones tend to be of better quality or at least tend to fail less. For you running much higher PSI than stock, the check valve would probably be in your better interests and serve you better. I personally have had experience with parts store PCV replacements failing but when switched to OEM, it was fine.
