Putting a 6cm hotside on a turbo witha 7cm hotside is like going back in performance..How bad is the hotside cracked? Is it just around the WG hole..

Pics would be helpful..

But to answer you question, yes you can..If your in a bind and need to get the car back on the road go for it..Otherwise I would order another 7cm hotside..

yes you can. It utilizes a td05 turbine wheel so any mitsu hotside machined for a td05 wheel would work.

If you do use a 6cm housing, take into consideration the benefits and losses of using that housing.

"A 6cm turbine housing was worth 400 rpm earlier spoolup on my small 16g with 10*clip. I had 15 psi by 2800 rpm vs. 3200 rpm using a 6cm vs. 7cm. Both housings were ported. I liked it better when I had an automatic, more grunt in the midrange and easier to get rolling off the line. I never noticed any drop in top end. As long as the 6cm housing and manifold is ported you should be very happy. Buschur ran 116 mph in the 1/4 mile with a Big16g and 6cm turbine housing. Your mileage may vary. "
