Here's why...

When i first start my car it runs great and dandy. once it warms up it is also fine. But if i turn it off and leave it off or about 30 min, when i start it the damn thing runs like poop. it spools and runs the right amount of boost, but it just doesn't have the pull and the check engine light is on. if i drive it for a while though, the check engine light goes off and it runs just fine. i just don't get it, but sure enought it is driving my crazy. Help me

my car acutally felt the same way. The first drive of the day, no matter how long I drove it for or how hot it got, it felt good. Then the second drive of the day, it felt like it had a lot less pull, and something was wrong. So, I got a chip that converted my boost gauge to a knock gauge, and it tunred out that for some unknown reason I would have crazy phantom knock... but only on the second drive of the day.

I was going to get the revised lifters, but I did an engine flush the last oil change, and the problem has mysteriously dissapeared. No more phantom knock. I used penzoil engine flush, pour in oil, run car for 10 mins, drain, and change oil like normal.
