Hello, I recently installed a slwoboy 3500, fidanza flywheel and a braided line. Here the problem I put a new slave cylinder and I spent countles hours bleeding that stupid clutch now it has pressure and I can shift again but its clunky it's very hard to go into gears sometimes so I adjusted th rod clockwise see if that helps. It did a bit bu now my engament is right on the floor. I mean i can let go of my foot just like half an inch and it picks up righ away and no play. Still getting used to this new clutch my used to slip for ever. I was wondering if I have to extent my slave cylinder rod? or adjust th rod counterclock wise? thank you

there are a couple of guys around here with act2900's, and they all say that it engages almost at the floor... so i would guess that's just the nature of the beast

I have a act 2100 lb clutch kit, heavy st disc and a xact streetlite flywheel. When mine was first put in the gears were hard to get in, and they were clunky. my clutch would engage right off the floor too. Now it isn't clunking and the engagement is about a inch from where it was. If you just installed it give it some time.

thanks for the tip, I guess I will wait a week or 2 and see how it goes. I do have a question when i changed my clutch i forgot to put the shield back on to cover the flywheel at the buttom crack. I don't feel like dropping the transfer case just for that :( that would suck. slowboy racing told me not to worry about it they have had thre cars with out it for years. in that case is that good? what if a rock falls in and hits a teeth?

i think you'll be kicking yourself when a stupid pebble gets lodged in there and opens up pandora's box
