Okay so i went to put on my radiator and fans today, and the ac fan is about a quarter of an inch away from the turbo, it almost touches.

Is this safe? Should i just use a pusher fan insead?

How thick is your radiator and how big is your turbo? Slim fans show give you MORE room not less.

I just took mine out and only running a single slim fan. My setup had the external wastegate IN the fan literally. The shroud was cut to fit and the fan blade was roughly a centimeter or two away from the wastegate.

Thanks liquid that's what I needed to know, its an hx35 on a mishimoto radiator. I just wasn't sure if the fan could handle the heat. I can try to take a picture but Idk if il be able to get a good shot of it.
And the reason im asking is because im trying to keep ac.

I still use the ac. No issues so far. BUt I'll have to see what happens in the summer. There will still be a fan turned on when the ac is activated.

wait, so your only running one single slim fan and running ac off of it? How? No issues with over heating with only one fan?

Haha well let me know.
Do you have both stock fan wires wired into the slim fan, or just the passenger side wires?
