The thing doesnt hop horridly I have good tires and suspension. The problem is when I shift into 2nd after I launch the damn wipers come on LOL. The lever gets knocked down a notch and its really annoying (not too mention it looks stupid as all hell)

Anyone know how to stop this? Besides telling me to get urethane motor mounts? (I will soon enough) maybe theres a way to tighten up the wiper lever?

It doesnt happen every single time but ya know sometimes I just hit 2nd and get a little wheelspin and a little bit of hop I can barely notice and it just happens.

Wheel hop can cause damage, but alittle is normal. I took some thick paper you also could probably use cardboard and stuck it in the gap while I was at the track. :thumb:

Im looking for a permanent solution here though. Not just for the track it will happen if I hit a bump hard enough as well. I suppose I can NR it until I figure something out.

Solid motor mounts might stop wheel hop...Try filling your stock rubber mounts with polurethane, they sell it in gallons for like 20 dollars. I looked into it when i was gunna swap a sr20det into my ser. Said it would eliminate most hop. If you got time on your hands Id say do it, yours gunna feel a lot more outa the engine tho
