bogs when I shift

Whats up guys,
I recently took my car to the track and every time I shifted the car felt like it would lag. I am recirculating my Greddy type S valve so I don't understand why it is doing this. Could it be because I have a crappy intake with the dump tube cut? should I put the stock intake back on? I also kept my foot on the gas when I shifted, but it still lagged.

Have you checked for boost leaks? Do you have a logger or other way to tell if you're running a little rich?

I do not have a logger,but do you think it could be because there is no dump tube in my intake.

I wouldn't think so but since you've got an extra intake, swap them out and find out for sure
