engine bogs when shift back to neutral

engine bogs when shift back to neutral, BUT only when there is less than a 1/4 tank of gas. do i need a new fuel filter?

Never a bad idea to replace your fuel filter anyway, but it may be water in the tank, hard to tell without many details. Try adding some Iso-HEET next time you fill up.

hopefully you don't have to take out the fuel pump but it wouldn't hurt to check.

Pickup tube in gas tank is probably bent.

Not sure if it will help but it worked for one of my non-DSMs, same symptoms. Coincidence? Maybe.
