Silly fuel trim question...

On a 1G, is the fuel trim considered lean if it is higher than 100% or lower then 100%?

Lean is higher than 100%

Fuel trims over 100% mean the ECU is adding fuel over it's maps due to O2 feedback and
that the engine is running lean without the added trim.

Now that I hear it it makes perfect sense. And, my car is running lean. Now I can get to tuning with my MAFT and see what happens.
