I didn't think it sounded very good and neither did the camera man.

Ahhh, the NHRA and IHRA allow it, thats all that matters. Shep is running something similar. Only it comes out the passenger side under the headlight.ericbev said:The local law enforcement would have a field day with this one. Must we not forget that alot of sanctioning bodies dont allow the side exhaust to exit before the front door for reasons such as carbon monoxide. Just a thought.
its not that its not impressive, its just that his car now stands for nothing i want to do in life. i dd a minivan, and taking corners with that thing is so much fun. not because its impressive, but because its dangerous. i know pumping nitrous into a 1200+ hp car is probably more dangerous, but you dont get that instantanious feeling of OH SHIT when you hear the suspension start to buckle under the cars weight. its 10 years old and this is a fun way of making it look 50 years old.SBstar said:well its definately not streetable anymore, but think about it. It's still a little 2.0 4cyl dsm 4G63 at heart. But the point was that the IHRA and NHRA allow the side exit exhaust in the front. It's definatly not street legal, and the SCCA and other sanctioning bodies don't approve, but most people just drag race anyways.
I decided to do my own setup now utilizing his custom cross member to make it fit since his was setup for a T4 outlet. It's not going to be running a glasspack muffler like he was in the video you see there, he ended up just using straight pipe later anyways. He's working on a 4" exhaust now which is just crazy.SBstar said:Here you are my friend, might soon be my setup.
