my car was repainted 2 years ago right before i bought it....the owner did the whole thing over after he put the body kit on.
But now....Im reverting my car back to the stock body (2gb)...i only have the front bumper done.
i designed the paint scheme on it for a more modern look.

Im usually not a fan of body kits and custom paint, but i like the way you choose to show of the carbon fiber it looks good.:thumb:

"Is the paint dripping up, or is the carbon fiber dripping down?"

That's the only thing I could think of after looking at it for a minute. It's like those paintings of black and white birds that just sorta meld into each other. Very neat effect.

How much does a simple paint job cost? no funky stuff, just plain nice paint?

stock pearl silver paint job!! Just wash that baby at least twice to three times a month and the shine will neevr fade. I use maguires gold class car wash in case anybody would like to know.

run you anywhere from 1,800-2,500 . It all depends on where you decide to have the job done and what color. Regardless of the color or shop, your looking at at least 1,800 bucks for a nice paint job. Or if you want to just slap on some pain that will last for about a year, two , or even three I would suggest earl scweib. There you can pick the pear paint for 700 dollars which has a guarantee time of 5yrs!! It's all up to what you really want and how reliable and professional the job desired is , good luck man! :D

You did it right Scott. I just finished replying to your PM. In case anyone else is interested, the color is Toyota's Quicksilver FX (1B9). Best of luck with your project Scott.

Thanks,

I am considering a dark gray, graphite type color. If anyone has a color like this Id like to see it. that gray/silver color is hot GSX! what do call that color?

Actually, travisr138s car is about like the color Iam looking for. what is it called?
