should this be plugged in somewhere?

trying to find where this rattling noise was coming from. when i took off my hatch cover noticed my rear windsheild wiper pump has a connector that is not connected to anything. anyone know where it should plug into? oh, and the rattle was caused by a pair of needle nose pliers that the previous owner left in between my hatch and the cover, though that was pretty funny. got a new pair of pliers though, thanks

i don't have a 2g... but it could possibly be for a led strip along the spoiler for other models... does your rear wiper work? if it doesn't.. plug that in!

everything works . i thought it might be for an led on a spoiler, probally what it is for. oh well , not really worried, just curious!

On my car it is also hanging down like that all my wing and tail lights work fine so I don't think it's from that. I never connected it.

On my N/T it is plugged into to the led stip on the the wing...so your good to go

that plug is actually for the third brake light that was on the factory 3 piece spoiler...if urs didnt come with the 3 piece spoiler...its there to plug into the 3rd brake light

should be somewhere close unless the connector is cut off on the other end look for loose hanging wires

That's all it is. It's for the third brake light on the spoiler. If you don't have the low rise spoiler, then you don't have the third brake light right there. No worries.
