Should this hole be plugged on my ebay intake??

That's fine. The previous owner plugged it up when they installed the mbc and disconnected it from the stock BCS.

Markp's got it. The stock BCS setup is a bleeder type, and it uses that nipple to bleed the metered air back behind the MAS.

I can see you have a MBC so you no longer need it; leave it plugged.

Oil will make its way into your intake, IC pipes, and intercooler. Also into your intake manifold.

I would be careful using a catch can with a filter, it can easily become clogged causing pressure to build up from blow by under boost. If the oil dipstick suddenly starts popping out that's probably the problem.

so if i just left everything as is it should be ok? sorry i'm new to all of this ha :/

Yup, everything looks good as far as that goes.

I'm a little concerned at how kinked the BOV recirc hose is, if you ever have any fluttering/compressor surge that may be why. It also looks like you may have an exhaust leak between the head and exhuast manifold on the left side, but not I'm just getting picky :p

My revs sometimes go up really high randomly, usually after like long drives tho, i think i need a new ISC .... i didnt know the BOV recirc hose wasn't supposed to be kinked LOL. Exhaust leak could be why there is all that black stuff there??

If you have a good working PCV system you will not seen any blow-by so you would not need a catch can. If you want I would look into the check vale from USplastics. You can find all of that info in the "Stupid PCV Question" thread.

The BOV will be curved like an S but it should not be kinked on one of the curves and yes that does look like an exhaust leak, thats what the black stuff on the water pipe looks like...good eye peepers-goes with your nameROFL.

Maybe check those bolts on that runner to see if they are loose. You may need a new gasket since it looks like thats where it is coming from.

I also purchased my intake from ebay. What I did was I plugged the nipple on the opposite side of the intake that originally ran to the valve cover and used an autozone breather filter and attached that to the valve cover. As far as the plugging the nipple that your talking about I just used the original hose that was attached to the stock intake and ran that tube to the intake. But since you have a MBC your fine.

Putting a filter on the valve cover breather will let unmetered air be sucked in through the PCV valve during vacuum.

The PCV valve will be closed during boost(if it's not leaking) so the breather is the only thing to relieve the pressure in the crankcase, unless/until the oil dipstick pops out.

:shhh: ;)

The "stupid pcv question" thread has some great material in it and is worth a read- http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/229338-stupid-pcv-question.html

alright thanks alot :)

I may just not be able to see it but should he not connect this outlet to the PCV vent on the left sode of the valve cover? He needs to have his vent or he will nasty up his oil and can loose HP

That hole was for the bcs. He has a mbc so he does not need it. The inlet you are refering to is on the opposite side next to the egr inlet and bov return.
