I decided to do a cam swap on my n/t with a set of Tsi ones and the set I bought came with the lifters and rockers as well. Can i put those in my n/t, will it help performance wise and also they are in better shape than mine so thats what made me want to swap them all out while I am there? Thanks!!! I did get lucky and I found 92 m/t Tsi cams with a little bit of time research and of course help from you folks. Once again you haven't failed me!!

I'm new to this DSM stuff and I've been trying to find info on used lifters on new cams or used but different cam.

Have not found any answer yet,but from what I know and have read about V8's you should never put used lifters on a new cam.

Used cams and lifters take a set w/each other and if mismatched (not keeping each lifter with the corresponding cam lobe will wipe out the cam.

Maybe DSM's are different. Anybody out there offer some DSM sage advise?
