I just purchased these rims and I originally was going to get them powder coated black but now I"m not sure. The first pic is how they are now on my car. The second pic is a ms paint mock up of them painted black. I need opinions !!!!

Leave them the way they are. It's fairly rare to see a sexy ass DSM with nice wheels.

Everyone does the black shit, and it looks like ass the majority of the time.

I think when done right the black rims make a car look more aggressive. I am doing this on my own vehicle when I get a chance. I would recommend painting them all black though, I personally hate the chrome lip.

What you could do is get some plasti dip and paint them with that/whatever color you choose. Since it dries as vinyl if you don't like it you can take it off. 3 layers is very weather resistant.

Thanks for all the votes & replies guys. Unfortunately I'm still actually undecided....probably more then ever haha. Keep the votes coming but for now I think I will leave them until I get time and $ to look into the "plasti dip" mentioned by zigg then maybe try out black for awhile.

I would leave them or maybe make them a bit darker like gunmetal, but definitely not black. I never understood black rims really. You can't see what they look like until you get up close, but maybe that's the point...? I thought people painted them black if they didn't like the way they looked or if they were all chipped up.

In the pictures the rims ARE NOT actually on the car. I rolled them next to m current wheels to see what they would look like. I need two tires before they go on. I'm actually now thinking gun metal, could anybody photo shop that ?

black with polished lip is sick. Who cares if its been done before if it looks good. I've never understood why people on here NEED to be unique...

Another vote for leave 'em how they are.

Black with silver lip is cool and all, but spending hundreds of dollars on a wheel's....errttt *brakes chirp*...LOOKS! WTF I can't think of a bigger waste of money.

All a car needs is a good paint job. Wheel purchases should be based off function. Who cares what it looks like?

Of course, if you're asking this question, you obviously aren't digging how they look now, so you'll probably end up changing them down the road anyway.
