how should i paint my rims?

im getting my rims powder coated so i used spray paint to get some ideas. im getting my car painted black and my engine bay is black and blue so it has to flow. heres some pics and let me know which ones you like better

id say no to the blue its tacky imo.

your rims dont need to match your engine bay thats like saying your boxers have to match your shoes

what about black and have that lip you painted blue, polished or a brushed aluminum look

or do the whole thing bronze. bronze looks nice on black

Bronze-###. Polished Lip-Even gayer since everyone and their mother and their goofy brother driving a honda do it. Im partial to black rims with the thin red line lip that you see on Rota's a lot. I think that Blue lip looks alright. A little darker would be nice as well as keeping the paint off the tires.

I really like the black wit the blue lip, in fact, its exactly what i'm going to do to mine! but i would also say go wit a darker blue, i think that would look even better.

I think I'm going with black and a darker blue lip. If any one else got any ideas let me know. I don't like the bronze ### everyone has them same with black and chrome lip

+1 on black with darker blue lip...!!!

I think a skinnier blue lip would look better. That lip is way to thick for my taste. Just paint maybe a small blue line around the rims lip.

Just my opinion, but both look bad. Mabey a black rim with dark blue allen head between spokes. That blue is way to bold on that black rim.

Personally think a polished gunmetal or a darker flat bronze looks the best on a black DSM. Trying to decide between these two for mine.

Get the blue lip to match your blue in the engine bay.
