Should I go with dejon inatke manifol or keep the stocker?

Hi guys, I was woundering if I should go with with a dejon tool intake manifold or should I keep the stock unit or should I consider something else? This is what I currently have on my car:

20g with ported 2g exhaust manifold
hks cams 262/274
fmic
gm maf
act2600
safc
255lph pump
fpr
650cc injectors
3 inch exhaust (turbo back)
greddy boost controller
and stock internals

I guess what I'm trying to get at is would the gains be worth my time, offort and money or should I leave it alone? Thanks. :dsm:
 
i would save my money until i thought that it was holding back alot of power like you ported the head and still have the stock intake mani but thats just my opion
 
the intake is a good idea but you will be borderlining the integrity of your motor.you sould hold off and build the block or purchase it if you have the money set it aside until you finish the bottom end.better to have it and dont need right now than to need it and dont have it.

So basically what I'm getting is that it would not help me unless I have a ported head? I just don't understand how these people could claim 45hp with a bolting on the intake manifold. I'mstill open to any sugestions any one might have. Thanks.
 
I like dave and his products. However 45HP is a lot. Sorry it's early. Did you get a significant increase with your cams? Don't know if dave is backing the 45HP claim with a dyno run which should accompany all new parts where HPclaims are made IMHO.mark
 
My best run on my 50trim was 12.57 @ 111mph. I tried at 2-3 events to better it and it never really happened on my car. It was stock 2g motor stock cams and 20psi of boost on a 50trim with full weight, so thats not a bad time.

PUt on the Magnus SMIM and next event after only a re-tune with it installed (very minor changes on the afc) pulled several 12.1X @ 115ish mph runs. My I did quite a few 12.2 @ 114 as well.

Quite honestly it took 4/10ths off my time and added around 4mph. So if that isn't 45hp I don't know what is. Many guys with 2g's have similar results with the Magnus SMIM. I don't know if results are the same with the dejon one or not to be honest I haven't seen any real results posted by anybody regarding it, but those are my real results with the Magnus unit. Thats an honest gain, no other mods were done at all in any way shape or form...
 
Thanks for the info. looks like I'm going to go ahead and get the intake. As for swet97, to be honest I don't know if there was any gain with the cams, I never got to drive my car stock. When I bought the car it wasn't running, so I went out and got the performance parts and put them in. I do know that the car pulls like hell. I had a 2000 integra type-r before with a supercharger and the eclipse probably pulls twice as hard, anyways thanks for the info. Hugo.
