99’ 2g eclipse wont shift into 2nd,4th & reverse unless I turn it off and put into gear SOMETIMES. had to take the trans out for throw out bearing , I put new bearing , clutch pact, master cylinder , slave cylinder , fixed the oil leak , idk what to anymore , I’m guessing it’s shift linkage but idk how to adjust it.
 
This being a 420A, there isn't much to get in the way of the shift levers. It sounds you likely have a broken rubber bushing. You can check those underneath the intake pipe on top of the transmission.

The shifter cable itself popped off the transmission slot where it goes , I put it back and put the clip in 😂 , she’s shifting A1 now
