Anybody have the rre's shifter bushing, I was wondering how that compared up to the symborski shifter bushing.

Im just throwing this out there. the flat goes under and the step goes on top step down. You might have to wiggle it a bit to get it to set in the hole. There really shouldn't be problems with bolt length unless they are not the stock bolts.
If you are sure everything is right, post back for more help.

well, the flat bushing is in there to keep the plate at the correct level. You might want to pull the bolts and make sure they are the same length Ive never seen nor heard of this problem before.
Im really really not trying to insult you or anything because Ive had my share of these things too and it always seems like you tried everything but maybe take em all out and check to see everythings normal and everything matches and then start again.
I actually checked all 4 bolts and they are all the same. I think I might just get the same bolt but longer. So far I haven't had any problems with the flat bushings not being in place. Thanks for your help though

Get the 2G kit. By the way I highly reccomend any one of these shifter plate kits. I have the Energy Suspension Kit myself, but I imagine the Symborski would be slightly stiffer- whatever the case, they dramatically improve shifting accuracy and feel, IMO. I am using a B&M short shifter as well, however.
