Anyone know the thread pitch on the 2g shifter? I'm looking into an aftermarket shift knob finally. I don't like the "universal fit" with plastic self-threading bushings. That seems like the cheapest option ever and quite unsafe. I may just end up continuing to use the OEM shift knob since it's still in great shape.

10m x 1.25 apparently. Found via random searches at the bottom of the page.

In my younger days I'd buy one of those universal kits that I liked, fill the bottom with some super hard epoxy, and then just drill/tap it.

But yeah, hope this helps.
