I have a 1g 4g63 with a 4g64 crank and am having problems with knock and am being told my base timing is off. I have set it with the lower cover and pulley marks to 5deg BTDC with a timing light. Is there an issue when using a 4g64 crank with the 4g63 pulley? will the timing marks no longer line up like they are supposed to?

Alright that looks like a much better way to set timing than using the cover. Thanks for the help.
