i am currently uninstalling a car alarm that was in my car when i bought it. now my questions are... there is a cluster of 4 wires in my hand that were hooked to it should i do anything with these besides wrap them up with tape? the 2 without connecters were hooked to the alarm and i dont know where they origionally went if any where. the wiring for that pic is comming out of where the radio should be.
now the pic of the orange and purple wires. they are coded to the alarm (i cut them long) but looks like a black wire with red stripe. on either end of the butt connecters. looks like they cut the origional black an red wire in half and ran it to 2 seperate routes to the alarm. i might be an igition wire of some sort should i twist it back together? just wanted a second opinion on this.
im in the middle of a 5 speed swap. and decided to dump this alarm while im at it but i dont want the alarm wiring to be part of the confusion if i have starting issues when im finished... any help is greatly appreciated.
