Seat belt light flashes then stays off, SRS light on

Does anyone know about the seatbelt light? I was just driving around, then the SRS light slowly lit up (from dim to bright) then my seat belt light stopped working. It flashes a few times when I turn the ignition on then stays off even with the seatbelt off. I have replaced the seatbelt buckle which has the "seatbelt on" sensor in it and it still didn't work. Does the dealer have to reset the airbag control module for my SRS light to go out and my seatbelt light to start working on again? They want 100 bucks to do it which is pretty ridiculous and I'd like to be able to fix it myself if possible, and if not the SRS light then at least the seatbelt light.

Please no "pull the bulb out of the dash" comments because I actually want this fixed, not ignored.
