2G Screeching when turned right

My power steering pump has been making alot of noise ever since the shop who repaired it before me drove it with low fluid. It used to just squeel and be noisy in the mornings during cold starts but it seems to have gotten worst. When i’m driving it literally sounds like metal grinding or just a nasty screech. but i noticed it only happens when i accelerate forward or to the right. when my steering wheel is turned left and i accelerate, no noise?? does that indicate something wrong with the power steering?? or something else perhaps
