2G Scratched rear main seal

Howdy tuners, hoping for some advice for another newbie who made a mistake.
Pulled my tranny to put in my new clutch and found my rear main seal was leaking. I used the screw method to pull the old seal and drove the screw in a too far scratching the back lip of the seal housing. It does not appear that the side of the housing that mates with the seal was scratched.

My question is do I just put a thin layer of rtv around the seal (which I planned on doing anyway) and run it? The back of the seal is open so I don't see how this scratch would affect things.
Or since I do have it all off do I get a new housing. Oil pan isn't leaking so I was hoping to avoid dropping it.
Any advice is very appreciated.

It wouldn't be a problem. But I would worry more that you don't have a dowel pin on the crank.

Cool, thanks for looking at it. And yeah I was curious about that. I stumbled on a thread saying 2g's didn't come with a dowel there but the spot is there. I've got one and it'll go in with everything else. Thanks again.

7 bolts don't have one in there from the factory.. no clue why Mitsubishi opted to put a spot in the crank for one but not install it..

Not all 7 bolt. 2g don't come though. This is about personal preference. My opinion is always should have it as long as if the flywheel has a hole for it. It's just $5. The part number is MD005994.
