1G Rear Main Seal ?

What do you guys think about a auto zone or local parts store rear main seal?

I've used them. They're fine. Mitsubishi doesn't make stuff like that. They buy it from people who do.

I just buy the full "evergreen" brand kit off eBay. It's $40 for a kit that comes with every gasket you'll need on a 6/7 bolt. Used it on a few rebuilds now and haven't had a problem with any of their seals leaking.

Dang, not AutocrapZone stuff ... like buying parts from Wal-Mart..

NAPA or a well known parts dealer are better for stuff like this..

If you get the Fel_pro seal, it does NOT matter who you buy it from

O'Reilly's, Advanced, and Auto Zone all carry Fel-pro gaskets and seals

NAPA Used to carry Victor, but I heard they carry Fel-Pro now

So buying a Fel-Pro gasket from Advanced Auto parts will not make it any better than if you bought it from Auto-zone.

I have used alot of the Evergreen gaskets and not had issues with them.
