ok dont laugh at me for this question. i installed my slowboy racing mbc. i need to know if the screw all the way down increases boost or decreases? i want to go out and set my boost but i dont want to blow something in the process

Clockwise increases boost

Counter-clockwise decreases boost until you get to the WGA spring pressure. Then it won't reduce it any farther.

losssening the bolt counterclock wise like mentioned above will make less boost. completley loose the system will work like stock. the air blows through the boost controller very easy to the wastegate and it works like stock. start to tighten that screw clockwise and it puts more tension on the spring and ball inside of the boost controller, making the air thats passing through to the wastegate harder. the tighter you put that screw/bolt the harder it will be for air to pass through. this slower air signal to the wastegate tricks the diaphram in to "keep on working mode" and the result is more boost.

ok thanks for the fast response. good thing i didnt go driving around the screw is all the way down. thats how i received it in the mail and never thought about it. i was going to call sbr and ask them but i wasa little to embarrased i figured id hide behind the computer and ask

yeah all the way tight would force the turbo into workin super hard so that wastgate could finally see the air signal to work. it would be alot of boost. a stock set up with a butt load of boost isnt a good idea. these cars do have fuel cut when they get over boosted. the car will violently shut off engine power for just a sec. it does this deliberatley as a warning to the driver kind of a "hey dumby your hurting me" kinda thing. that screw all the way tight woulda made your turbo push alot of air. i almost garentee you woulda hit this fuel cut that i mentioned. get a boost gauge and just up the boost a few pounds for the time being. u have 2g car. a t25 (or t2tiny) physically dont move that much air any how. id say try an aim for like 15-17 psi. good luck

yeah i need to update my profile. i have a big 16g, i do have a boost gauge. i am going to tune her in tomarrow the best i can. i have dsmlink but not installed. i plan on taking it to a local shop soon so they can tune it for me. thanks for all the help
